My Mission is… to increase the joy and respect of the LGBTQ community.

Told by Henrietta Cunningham

AGE: 12

MY BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT SO FAR HAS BEEN… announcing I was trans—I was four years old and I told my pre-K4 class in Spanish what my name is. I was so happy when they put my name on my desk and locker the next day.

I’M HAPPIEST WHEN I’M… around my family and in my room playing with my friends on Roblox.

IN 10 YEARS I’LL BE… an actor!

IF I WERE PRESIDENT, MY FIRST ACTION WOULD BE… to get rid of all the LGBTQ-phobic laws. Immediately.

WHEN I’M NOT STANDING UP FOR WHAT I BELIEVE IN, YOU CAN FIND ME… in my room playing Roblox with my friends.

FAVORITE BOOK: The Demon Slayer manga series, written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge.

A GREAT PIECE OF ADVICE: If you feel insecure about your body, make sure to learn to love it. And it doesn’t matter what it looks like—you and I are beautiful in all ways.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU: Millie Bobby Brown.

BIGGEST OBSTACLE FACING YOUR GENERATION: The hate, all these comments, and influencers about transphobia.

ONE WAY TO HELP: Ignore all of them—find someone who appreciates trans or watch your favorite show.
