Ralph Lauren’s limited-release commemorative stamps to come out with USPS

By Janet Gerges.

The USPS invites Ralph Lauren as the first individual to curate a complete official stamp issuance for the 250th anniversary of America.

Ralph Lauren, the iconic American brand, is joining the celebration for the 250-year anniversary of America by collaborating with the United States Postal Service to release a set of 13 commemorative stamps. This limited-release commemorative stamp collection marks the first time the USPS has invited an individual to curate a complete official stamp issuance. The USPS dedication ceremony will take place on June 9, 2026 at 11 a.m. EST, at the James A. Farley Post Office Building in New York.

Ralph Lauren’s name is synonymous with American fashion—for nearly 60 years, he has “cultivated the iconography” of American imagery into a global brand. He started this brand by designing in a single drawer in the Empire State Building, and has since built it into an iconic global name. His story is a testament to the opportunity and drive that builds the American Dream.

This collection of stamps honors Lauren’s contributions to American design. His brand is integral in the visual identity of the American spirit and roots itself in American heritage, landscapes, cultures, and authenticity. These stamps are imbued with that same spirit—the 13 photographs selected from the Ralph Lauren archives that are portrayed on the stamps include: The American Flag, The Baseball Glove, The Pickup Truck, The Empire State Building, The Barn, The Diné (Navajo) Blanket, The Teddy Bear, The Lighthouse, The Hamburger, The Racing Sailboat, and The Horses. These images represent the visuals of America—and one specific image stands out above the rest. The Iconic Flag Sweater, designed by Ralph Lauren, is featured on the stamps. This is a detailed photograph of the knitted interpretation of the American flag seen on the sweater, which emphasizes how tied together Ralph Lauren is with our image of America.

The limited-release commemorative stamp collection will be issued in a commemorative stamp pane, portfolio, postcard pack and pin card. These stamps are Forever stamps, meaning that regardless of any future price increases, they are “non-denominated,” and will always be equal in value to the current First-Class Mail 1-ounce price.

In addition to the stamp collection, the Ralph Lauren brand will have a commemorative capsule collection available for purchase, which includes the 2026 U.S. Flag stamp reimagined as Ralph Lauren’s iconic American Flag Sweater, a classic Polo Shirt and a Ball Cap. This collection will be available for purchase at select Ralph Lauren retail locations.
