To celebrate Disability Pride Month, we look back at our Sølve Sundsbø shoot from Mission’s Human issue.
This month marks Disability Pride Month, an annual celebration month designed to empower the disabled community in the U.S.. Disability Pride Month was established in 1990 to mark the passing of the landmark Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination based on disability. To celebrate the occasion, we look back at our shoot by veteran photographer Sølve Sundsbø, whereby a slew of powerful disabled models and creatives including cover star Ellie Goldstein and model Monty M were filmed and photographed for the below film.
